These are the terms that govern your use of vault.aussiesin.com, the country guides, tools, Vault subscription, and Aussies In Pro membership (collectively, "the Vault"). By creating an account, buying anything, or browsing the site, you agree to them.

Who's behind this
The Vault is run by Aussies In, an Australian business operated by Lucas Black. Contact: hello@aussiesin.com.
What you're buying
You can buy any of the following on the Vault:
- Single country guides — a one-off purchase, lifetime access to that one guide.
- The Vault — a 30-day pass that unlocks every country guide and every tool we ship, including ones launched during your active pass.
- Aussies In Pro — annual membership that includes everything in the Vault for a year, plus the physical Book of Legends (mailed once available).
- Standalone tool unlocks — a one-off A$5 for printable PDF exports of an individual tool (itinerary, budget, language, money, visa).
All prices are in Australian dollars (A$). Payment is handled by Stripe; we don't store your card details.
Your account
Accounts are managed by Clerk on our behalf. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. If you spot unauthorised access, email us and we'll lock the account.
One account per person. Sharing your account credentials so a mate can read the guides on your dime isn't allowed — that's what the referral program (A$5 each) is for.
What you can and can't do with the content
Every guide, tool, illustration, and word in the Vault is original work we made. You have a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use it for your own trips. You can:
- Read it on any device you own
- Save offline copies and PDF exports for your own use
- Share a single tip with a friend in conversation
You can't:
- Republish, repackage, or redistribute the guides (in whole or substantial part) anywhere
- Upload them to torrents, file-sharing sites, or AI training datasets
- Sell or sub-licence access to other people
- Use them to compete with us commercially
We pursue copyright infringement when we find it. We also use the referral program — share a link, get A$5 — to make legitimate sharing the easier path.

The Vault is a travel guide written by travellers. We do our best to keep visa requirements, prices, safety briefings, and operator details accurate — and we refresh quarterly — but travel conditions change. Before you book or board, verify visa rules with the relevant embassy, prices with the vendor, and safety guidance with Smartraveller.
Nothing in the Vault is financial, legal, medical, or insurance advice. Talk to a qualified professional before any decision that has real consequences.
Refunds

Cancellation
Single guides and standalone tool unlocks are one-off purchases — there's nothing to cancel. Vault passes are 30-day; they auto-expire unless you renew. Pro memberships run for 12 months from the purchase date. You can cancel any future renewal from your account at any time; access remains until the current period expires.
Termination
We can close accounts that breach these terms — most often that means accounts caught sharing credentials or redistributing guides. We'll try to email you first.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Vault is provided "as is" without warranty. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your travel. Where Australian Consumer Law gives you rights that can't be excluded, those rights apply.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms when the product changes meaningfully (new tier, new tool, new payment method). Material changes get an email to active users. Minor edits update silently — the "Last updated" date at the top of this page is always the source of truth.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Victoria — though we'd much rather resolve them by email first.
